NCTS5 – Track movements of goods in transit
NCTS5 is the European system for electronic tracking and tracing of goods in transit by road within the EU. The bizBox eCustoms NCTS5 solution enables:
- implementation of national and EU transit procedures,
- the preparation and exchange of electronic transit documents,
- entering, reviewing and controlling messages in connection with the FURS and EU NCTS5 environment.

What is the process of setting up customs procedures for a company wishing to start customs clearance?
To get started, you need a valid digital certificate (SIGEN, Halcom, Post).
Edit user access to the eCarina portal. Log in to the eCarina portal with a digital certificate registered in the eTaxes system. If you already have access to the portal, you can skip this step.
Once you have access to the eCarina portal, we will arrange the relevant work authorisations and register the digital certificates.
We select a customs clearance software provider and start the customs clearance process.

Which modules are needed to complete the export process and print the CMR document?
To complete the export process, you need the eCustoms AES and Supporting Documents modules. The Supporting Documents module allows you to print forms such as CMR, ATR and EUR1.
How is the eCustoms software installed and does the company need its own server to run it?
Installation is quick and easy and takes place at the user’s workstation. The only requirement is that the computer has internet access and Windows is installed. The software allows communication with the ZZI cloud via standard protocols.
Where are the declaration data entered in eCustoms stored?
All eCustoms data is stored securely on the ZZI site.
